Stephen Anthony Sullivan
Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, where I completed the national Certificate in Profesional Cookery in the now TU Dublin and then went on to attend a Degree in Culinary Arts, I have trained in the best 5 star Hotels and Restaurants in the Country. I am now an established Executive Chef currently based in the Balearic Islands, Spain, after nearly 20 years experience in world class brands such as 5 Star Hotels, Michelin Star Restaurants, High end groups and Luxury Cruise Lines. My Career has allowed me to work in and experience some amazing parts of the world such as London, Madrid, the Caribbean, the Amazon, Antartica, Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and Beijing & Szechuan Province in China. I have been exposed to a number of different roles in my career in diverse kitchens, ranging from pre opening multi outlet Hotels, Central kitchens, ship galleys, large multi restaurant groups, seasonal projects, restaurants, cafes & bistros, as well as events, food trucks, movie shoots & private Catering, managing kitchen teams from 5-100 chefs. Over the years I have developed very high standards of food hygiene and quality, increased my skills of different cuisines and cultures as well as my knowledge of the high end industry, which has allowed me to feel comfortable in any kitchen environment. I specialise in pre opening and concept development, where I enjoy working directly with owners from the pre opening stage, developing concepts from scratch. Im at my best designing new kitchens from the plans and getting the most out of the space available, developing concepts, menu styles and dishes, recruiting the team and maximising profits.
I am currently Executive Chef at Origin Palmanova in Mallorca.
